On Tuesday 6 June, Professor Ángel Alcalde will give a lecture entitled: Origins of Franco's extermination: The process of rebel decision-making in the summer of 1936. In it, he will present the advances of his most recent research on Franco's violence during the civil war. His talk will focus on the hypothesis that the violence and combat experiences of the war were the fundamental ideological crucible of the Franco regime.
