Emilio Majuelo Gil is a doctor in Contemporary History and a professor at the Public University of Navarre since 1995. His research activity is related to social history, political history and contemporary historiography, especially aimed at the analysis of social and trade union movements, repression during the civil war and modern Basque historiography. Currently he directs the project "Documentary Fund of the Historical Memory of the repression in Navarre during the civil war and the Franco regime 1936-1975".
