On 16 February at 12 noon at CISPAC will take place the seminar A naturaleza de Mussolini. An environmental history of fascism by the doctor and environmental researcher, Marco Armiero.

 

About the speaker:

 

Marco Armiero (PhD in Economic History) is an environmental historian and currently works as a senior researcher at the National Research Council of Italy. He was one of the founders of the field of environmental history in Italy and co-author, together with Stefania Barca, of the first Italian textbook on the subject, Storia dell'Ambiente. Una Introduzione (2004). His main topics of study were the history of environmental conflicts around property rights and access to common resources (forests and sea), the politics of nature and landscape in Italian nation-building, and the environmental history of mass migrations
