HISTAGRA at the GALEUSCA 2021 meeting

HISTAGRA at the GALEUSCA 2021 meeting

In Tarragona and Reus, the VI GALEUSCA 2021 Meeting is held on October 28 and 29 under the theme, From the spring of nations to the Cold War, 1917-1947

The organizers of the congress understand that in the current context it is necessary for an in-depth study to review the period 1917-1947 in the Galeuscan territories -Galicia, the Basque Country and Catalan-speaking territories-, in Europe and in the World, with their crises and its alternatives.

In this sense, the VI Galeusca Historia focuses on this historical context of 1917-1947, from plural perspectives on the basis of History, expanding them to economic, sociological, anthropological and legal visions to configure a broader panorama that helps the global and day-to-day understanding of society in all the peoples that make up Galeusca.

Consequently, some choral lines of work are proposed that will serve to deepen the configuration of the societies under study in formats of freedom, adaptation, assimilation or rebellion in a context of structuring national realities.

HISTAGRA is represented by the IP of the Group, the Professor of Contemporary History Lourenzo Fernández Prieto and the researcher Xabier Buxeiro Alonso
