HISTAGRA Inconvenient Pasts Conference: Conxita Mir

On Thursday 19 December at 7 p.m. at the Faculty of History, Conxita Mir, professor at the University of Lleida, will give the lecture ‘From the collective to the individual: talking about History with Conxita Mir’, where she will offer us a perspective on history studies based on her long professional career as a teacher and researcher at different Catalan universities.

Conxita Mir Curcó was a lecturer in contemporary history at the UdL, where she is currently Emeritus Professor. Her early work was devoted to the analysis of political bosses and electoral behaviour during the years of the Restoration and the Second Republic, from where she moved on to the study of political violence and social control during Franco's regime, based on the exploration of civil and military judicial sources. Member of different associations and of the editorial board of several specialised journals.
