HISTAGRA at the XVIIth CONGRESS OF THE ASSOCIATION FOR CONTEMPORARY HISTORY

HISTAGRA COORDINATES SEVERAL ROUND TABLES AT THE 17TH CONGRESS OF THE CONTEMPORARY HISTORY ASSOCIATION

The 17th Congress of the Contemporary History Association is set out as a space from which to try to offer balances and perspectives that reflect the current state of contemporary historiography, based on the problems and questions of the 21st century. Its aim is to promote a necessary dialogue between researchers in the field of history and other related disciplines, which will serve to exchange historiographical approaches and approaches, to assess the present situation and future directions of research in contemporary history and, in turn, to address the fundamental problems of today's world from the necessary historical perspective. In order to do so, we start from the need to combine in the study of the past both the analysis of historical subjects and their individual and collective experiences, and that of the historical processes that marked the evolution of the contemporary world in its multiple spatio-temporal scales, from the global to the local, as well as the theoretical and methodological reflection on our discipline itself.
