Manuel A. Loureiro (Vigo, 1989) holds a degree in Biology from the University of Santiago de Compostela (2012), a Master's degree in International Management from the Instituto de Empresa (2014) and a Master's degree in Philosophy applied to contemporary challenges from the Open University of Catalonia (2023). He is currently pursuing a PhD in Contemporary History at the University of Santiago de Compostela.
 

His doctoral research, under the supervision of Lourenzo Fernández Prieto (USC) and Stefania Barca (USC), studies the relationships between humans and animals that escape the domestic-wild dichotomy in commonly governed landscapes, through the history of animals in the Galician mountains.
