Gabriel Muleiro is a writer and researcher. He is known for translating the complexity of political philosophy into literary narratives and critical essays that challenge current power structures. Through his research, he offers a fresh perspective on democracy and contemporary subjectivity. His work seeks to dismantle traditional ideas.

He explores the dynamics that shape contemporary cities and how political decisions affect the social fabric, emphasising rent control, the need for public housing and raising the profile of homeless communities.

Another of his areas of research is migration and racism; to this end, he investigates the management of migration crises, the defence of human rights, and racist or xenophobic behaviour in contemporary societies.

His main research topic is democracy as a technology of power. For this analysis, he draws extensively on the theoretical frameworks of authors such as Eric Hobsbawm, Jacques Derrida, Gilles Deleuze, Félix Guattari and Jacques Rancière, amongst others. From this perspective, he analyses the structures of power, social control and institutional narratives in current democratic systems.

He approaches writing not only as an art form, but also as a tool for political critique. A prime example of this is his book *Centauros*, a collection of essays and articles in which he weaves together classical and contemporary authors with critical reflections on power and contemporary politics.

He holds a Master’s degree in Economic Development from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a Master’s degree in Philosophy from La Salle University, which provide his research with a solid economic and material foundation.
