Aline Simões Leite. Brazilian, PhD student in "Democracy in the 21st Century" at the University of Coimbra/CES, and in "Contemporary History" at the University of Santiago de Compostela/CISPAC. She works as an environmental analyst at the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation, linked to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, in Brazil, mainly developing activities related to socio-environmental management. Her main area of activity is related to socio-environmental management, such as the participatory management of federal conservation units, the creation and implementation of management councils, the participatory construction of management instruments, as well as the development of the fishing production chain and the implementation of public policies. Her main areas of interest are related to Political Ecology, Decoloniality, Gender and Intersectionality.
