HISTAGRA participates in the educational innovation project "Arredor do Rural"

 

The research group participated in the documentary "Arredor do Rural", as part of an activity carried out by the students of the subject Environmental History, in the DAEN master's degree in Teacher Training under the direction of HISTAGRA researcher Ana Cabana Iglesia. About the documentary Oficios para sempre. Bringing us to the present

 

The documentary Oficios para sempre. Traendo ao presente is a small sample of some traditional trades that are in serious danger of disappearing in Galicia and how these skills were part of the culture of a people and became essential for the life of the people. This work is the result of the collaboration between the association Las Espigadoras and students of the USC of the Master in Management of Educational Activities in Nature. It is one of the projects developed under the umbrella of the "Community of Actions and Knowledge Around the Rural", which brings together education/research professionals and entities that are working in rural areas with a sustainability perspective, with the aim that the students collaborate with the groups while at the same time addressing educational content.
