HISTAGRA organises a new Research Seminar: DARINA MARTYKANOVA

 

On Thursday 19 January, the HISTAGRA Group in collaboration with CISPAC is organising a research seminar with historian DARINA MARTYKANOVA entitled: Hero and victim. The rural doctor in the corporate discourse of doctors in the 19th century.

 

Darina Martykánová is a historian specialising in the history of techno-scientific professions (engineers and doctors) and the transnational production and circulation of technical and scientific knowledge. She also researches masculinities and the discourse of progress and civilisation.
