About the speaker:
Xavier Juncosa (1956) is a Catalan filmmaker, historian, essayist, novelist and translator. He was the director, creator and scriptwriter of more than a hundred documentaries, among them those dedicated to the life and work of Manuel Sacristán: "Integral Sacristán" (2007). Author of novels and essays such as Él missatger del fred. La desaparició d'Hernan Gurguí, deserter of the Blue Division (2012), in recent years he has been studying the French military archives related to espionage and Spanish exile during the Civil War.

The Centre historique des archives is one of the three centres of the Service historique de la Défense.
