HISTAGRA present at the International Congress Making a living: Gender and work through the centuries 

 

The HISTAGRA Group participates in the International Congress Making a living: Gender and work through the centuries, organized by the University of Granada, with the presence of the researchers: Ana Cabana Iglesia, Alba Díaz-Geada, Uxía Otero González and Tamara Lopez Fernandez. 

 

In addition, Ana Cabana directs Table 19: Work and women in the rural world. The historical construction of gender inequalities, with the professor of the University of Granada Teresa María Ortega 

 

The works presented are: 

 

Ana Cabana, Alba Díaz and Uxía Otero: Thinking about rural women: «being a peasant» for the Franco dictatorship 

 

Tamara López Fernández: When working the land is not enough. Crime against property during the Franco regime from a gender perspective in the province of Lugo.
