International Seminar on Contemporary History "Memory of places, places with memory"

This is a Seminar to prepare a publication developed in recent years in the framework of the research project “From places it gives violence to places of memory: social attitudes in the spaces of seclusion, execution and burial during the coup, the Civil War and Franco in a comparative perspective ”(2017-2020) whose IP is Antonio Miguez Macho, subsidized by the Xunta de Galicia.
The seminar will be attended by specialists in the field such as Miguel Ángel del Arco and Claudio Hernández Burgos of the University of Granada, Peter Anderson of the University of Leeds, Cesar Manuel Román Yáñez of the University of Mar del Plata and Erik Zubiaga of the UPV. In addition, there are USC researchers Lourenzo Fernández Prieto, Daniel Lanero Táboas and Lisandro Cañón Voirín and researchers in training of the HISTAGRA Group, Conchi López, Rafael García, Aldara Cidrás, Xabier Buxeiro and Iria Morgade
