Jornada A Galicia Baleirada, Viana do Bolo, September 27, 2019

Is depopulation a cause or an effect? What is the situation in Galicia? Are there alternatives or should we get used to this reality? These are some of the concerns that we will try to answer in the A Galicia Baleira conference that will take place in the Assembly Hall of the Casa do Concello in Viana do Bolo (Ourense) on Friday, September 27, 2019.

The REVOLTA network, composed of eight research groups, brings together 15 researchers a poet with the aim of deepening a social concern with transcendental dimensions for the future of Galicia. Depopulation and aging, which especially affects Ourense and Lugo must be approached from multiple perspectives and through debate. The day is conceived as a space for debate, so it is open to all citizens. Weaving meeting places between society and the university is one of the hallmarks of the REVOLTA network and is a commitment to generate spaces for knowledge exchange.
