Sophie Baby is a doctor in history and a professor at the Université de Bourgogne (France). Specialist in the Ibero-American world, reflects in his research on the problems of political violence in contemporary society, exit devices for
conflicts, modalities of national reconciliation, role of the law, figure of the victim. Member of the Georges Chevrier Center (FRE UB CNRS 3499), participates in the research group on extreme violence. Among his latest works is, El mito de la transición pacífica. Violencia y política en España (1975-1982) (2018).
