CALL FOR PANELS
From now on the period for the submission of session proposals is open. There will be two kinds of sessions: plenary and parallels. Plenary sessions (around three) should focus on the main subjects of the conference (see the presentation text) and they must underline the national and institutional diversity of both participants and case-studies. Parallel sessions, generally speaking, will have a more specific approach and a lesser number of participants and will not necessarily deal with the main subjects of the Conference. In both cases, theoretical or methodological and comparative or transnational session proposals are welcome. Proposals meant as plenary sessions which are rejected can be reformulated as parallel sessions as suggested by the organizing committee.
Proposals must be submitted through the online form available at Conftool transruralhistory – 2018 by 28 February 2017. In that form you will be required to enter the following data only: Name of the organizer(s), Panel’s Title, Abstract (max 300 words), Working Language(s) of the proposed panel. At this stage you do not need to enter the names or the number of possible participants. This will be required only after the panel’s proposal is approved, during the period of call for papers.
The decision on the accepted proposals will be made public by 30 March 2017.
