Round table: Anti-Francoism: The Key Figures II

 

As part of HISTAGRA’s ‘Uncomfortable Pasts’ series, a conference and debate entitled ‘Anti-Francoism: The Key Figures II’ will take place on Friday 17 April at 11 am, at which seven renowned anti-Franco activists will share their experiences of the years of anti-Franco struggle. The speakers are Alfonso Tellado (Trade Unionist, Ferrol), Xesús Vega (MC, Santiago), Manuel Dios (PTE, Santiago), Margarita Ledo (UPG and AN-PG, Portugal), Luis Burgos (PTE, Trade Unionist, Lugo-A Coruña), Carlos Núñez (PCE, Vigo), and Sari Alabau (PCE, Ferrol).

 

The event is open to all interested parties, although it forms part of the third-year module of the History degree: Contemporary History of Spain. 20th Century
