Registration is now open for the Agrobiodiversity Summer School 2026
Agrobiodiversity Summer School is now accepting registrations for its 2026 edition, which will take place in Galicia from 2 to 12 September. The course is organised by Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL), and CISPAC.
The course is mainly aimed at Master's students in the fields of agricultural sciences, the environment, food systems, processing technologies, rural development, and sustainability. Participation is limited to 30 places and restricted to students from—or enrolled in—a wide range of European countries. Registration is open until 28 February 2026, and selection will take place at the end of March 2026.
The Summer School combines a preparatory phase and an intensive 10-day stay. Between April and September 2026, students will develop a mini case study on agrobiodiversity in their country or place of study. During the week-long residential course in Galicia, these projects will be presented, case studies in different regions of Galicia will be visited, and group projects will be carried out. Successful completion of the activities will earn 6 ECTS credits.
All the information and the registration form are available on the official web.
