The Galician Parliament recognises Ramón Villares, HISTAGRA researcher, with the 2025 Medal

 

Ramón Villares, founding member of HISTAGRA has been recognised with the Galician Parliament 2025 Medal, together with the Galician Royal Academy of Fine Arts and Afundación.

 

The Bureau of the Galician Parliament agreed to award the Galician Parliament Medal 2025 to the Royal Galician Academy of Fine Arts, to Afundación-Obra Social Abanca and to the historian Ramón Villares (HISTAGRA researcher), in recognition of his ‘contribution to the conservation and dissemination of the artistic and cultural heritage’ of the Galician Parliament.  

 

The Galician Parliament Medal will be awarded this year on 5 April, coinciding with the anniversary of the enactment of the Statute of Autonomy.
