The researcher of the HISTAGRA Group, Francisco Jorge Leira Castiñeira has been awarded the Miguel Artola Prize for doctoral theses 2019, in its eleventh edition.

The award-winning work was "The sociability of soldiers in the rebel army (1936-1945), their role in the configuration of the Franco regime", led by Lourenzo Fernández Prieto, Aurora Artiaga Rego, researchers from HISTAGRA and Andrés Domínguez Almansa.
